Unit 5 - Linear Equations and Probability

Each day on the schedule is not necessarily equivalent to one day in class. This curriculum is designed for a schedule with 90 minute class periods. In general, each day here is two class periods at EHS.

Day 1 - Scatter plots

Day 2 - Line of best fit

Day 3 - Write equation of line given two points, find number of outcomes for compound events

Day 4 - Write equations of lines given various information

Day 5 - Write equations of vertical and horizontal lines

Day 6 - Find probabilities using addition and multiplication rules

Day 7 - Graph linear inequalities

Day 8 - Calculate number of outcomes using combinations and permutations...extend to probabilities

Day 9 - Write equation of line given data points (Barbie Bungie Jump)

Day 10 - Fairness of a game (using probability)

Day 11 - Review
